Suit Color

So, It's time to make decisions on things like suit color and what type of tanning product I'll be using. The plan is to use Jan Tana as of right now and suit color is undecided. I've been checking out how various colors look on dark African American skin tones and the more vibrant colors seem to look good.

Here's Tanji in a pink suit:

I'm having a difficult time finding someone to display the red, but it's a main option (considering I already have it! lol). I'm more interested in having everything come together and look as good as it can than I am using the suit that I have. It can always be sold and replaced. ;) Well, those are today's thoughts!

EDIT:

Here's Brenda Smith in red (Thanks, Lyn):

Week of 3/27/10

So, this week has seemed to zoom by! The great news is that I'm rocking my program and am down 2lbs this week. The bad news is....well, I don't have any for ya! I'm feeling good. All is well. And, as always and forever, God is good! T is looking to get me down another 15lbs or so in the coming weeks. That will be easy enough. I told him that the point that I usually plateau at is ~154lbs so that's where we are headed and we will deal with whatever needs to be dealt with at that point. I have my eyes set one that at the moment. I would love to be able to come in at the same weight as my last show, but better conditioned. That would mean that I would have to have put on a decent amount of muscle since competing last. I think I have. Well, as the physique that I desire is continuing to unveil itself, I'll continue to put my hands in the hands of the Man that stills the waters. ;)

Central States/Melissa Frabbiele Fitness, & Figure Champoinships!

So, I'll start this blog out with the date of my comp. AUG 14, 2010!! I have work to do and am working with Tony Dicostanzo of DreamBodies.net. I've worked with various online trainers over the past years and Tony is by far the best of the bunch! No doubt, I've worked with other great trainers, but T adds MUCH compassion and understanding to the mix and that makes a world of difference! So, this is the beginning of my prep for the show! I'm bringing the best me I possibly can and am trusting T every step of the way.

I'll be back mid-week with another post on how my week began. Check back for a longer, more in-depth post at that point!
